Visas and Nationality

Applying online is the best way to apply; it speeds up your application, it’s easier, you can track your application and you can message us online.

If you have limited internet access or you are unable to apply online, then see how to apply by post.

To apply online:

1. Go to the VisasAndNationality portal.

2. When you complete registering with us, you will receive an acknowledgement email containing a link. Click on the link to activate your account.

3. Log in to your account using your email address and password.

4. Go through the online application pages. Answer all the questions carefully, and make sure you know your Immigration Tier and Route – the system determines which statements you need based on your answers, and the qualification evaluators will consider and process your application depending on the answers you give.

Upload scanned versions of your qualifications, and fill in your contact details. We need ALL the following documentation to process your application:

  • a colour photocopy or scanned version of your final certificate(s) together with final transcript(s)
  • a photocopy or scanned version of a certified translation in English if necessary
  • payment for the service

If you are using our services to provide evidence of your English language proficiency, then we will ALSO need:

  • evidence of the medium of instruction of your study

5. At the end of the application process, you are offered several payment options. After you have chosen your payment method, we will email you confirming the details of your order, and give you your unique enquiry ID number. Quote your unique enquiry ID number in all communications with us.

After you receive the confirmation email, we will keep you up to date on the progress of your application with emails at each stage.

If you have a query, the easiest way to contact us is by using the online messaging built in to our application portals. Or you can telephone us.

Your application will not be processed until we receive the correct payment for the service(s) you have requested and all required documentation. You can upload scanned copies of all required documentation from within our application portal.

When applying online, you are given a unique enquiry ID number, which you should include in all communications with us.

Postage charges are additional to service fees, and you can choose from a range of options. See Delivery Options for more information.
