How to Apply

Check which service you need here.

Applying online is the best way to apply; it speeds up your application and allows you to monitor and track its progress.

To use the online application, you should follow these steps:

  1. Register a new account through the UK NARIC User Portal.

  2. When you have registered, you will receive an acknowledgement email containing a link. Click on the link to activate your account.

  3. Log in to your account using your email address and password.

  4. Start your application: select the service(s) you require; upload scans of your qualifications; fill in your contact details.

  5. If you are applying for an English Language Assessment, in addition to the above we require evidence of the medium of instruction of your study.

  6. At the end of the application process, you will be offered payment options. Once a payment method is chosen, you will be sent an email confirming your order, and giving you a unique enquiry ID number.

  7. You will then be kept up to date on the progress of your application via email. You can communicate with us using the online messaging function in the UK NARIC User Portal.

If you are applying for a Statement of Comparability for the Early Years Sector - additional supporting documents are needed. Go to the Early Years pages for more details.

You can upload scans of all required documents from the UK NARIC User Portal.

If you are applying by post - send all documents, including a cover letter with your contact details, clearly explaining the service(s) you wish, along with a brief explanation of the purpose of your application (for work, for study, etc), to:

Note when applying online:

When applying online, you will be given a unique UK NARIC enquiry ID number. Include this in all correspondence with us.

Note: your application will not be processed until we receive the correct payment for the service(s) requested and all required documentation; either via upload through the UK NARIC User Portal, or by post to our office.
