CEO attends annual NARIC Heads meeting

Brussels 2 February: recognition issues discussed

UK NARIC CEO Dr Cloud Bai-Yun is attending the annual Heads of NARIC Centres meeting in Brussels on 2 February.

A number of important mutual recognition and global recognition issues are being discussed.

This includes the recognition of online learning and MOOCs, and the mutual recognition of diplomas and study periods abroad (the Sorbonne process).

Taking part in the meeting are the heads of all the national NARIC recognition centres; representatives of the European Commission, the Council of Europe, and UNESCO; and representatives of other organisations such as ENQA (the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) and EQAR (the European Quality Assurance Register in Higher Education).
