UK NARIC’s Research & Data group is developing a new TNE dataset for 20 key TNE countries – set to go online in August.

The data will form new TNE sections in the relevant country files of the International Comparisons database. Additional countries will be added in later phases.

The data will cover regulations governing TNE provision, and (where possible) recognition practices that affect TNE in both ‘host’ and ‘sender’ countries.

New online information pages with advice on more general TNE issues are also under development.

This new UK NARIC research initiative is in response to our most recent Member Survey, which clearly indicated TNE as an area of growing interest, and also to recent discussions with stakeholder groups, which have indicated demand for much more detailed advice on regulatory and recognition issues around TNE.

TNE will also be a key topic at our UKNARIC17 conference.

This new strand of UK NARIC research is being led by Information Development Manager Jodie Duffy. Like our International Entry Qualifications research project, this broadens and enriches the UK NARIC information base to supplement the core data on International Comparisons and other online data banks.
