A Memorandum of Understanding has been created between UK NARIC and the ANQAHE (Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) with a view to providing platforms and opportunities for cooperation in supporting the growth of quality transnational education (TNE) in the Arab region.

The two organisations are looking to cooperate in a range of activities with a view to offering international reassurance about the quality of TNE provision in the region.

There is a commitment to cooperate in facilitating international recognition and portability of TNE qualifications of demonstrated quality and standards, including through UK NARIC’s new TNE Quality Benchmark scheme.

UK NARIC is increasingly engaged in international discussions to improve the recognition climate for TNE.

As these discussions develop, there will be further updates in future editions of this newsletter.
