However, this period is not guaranteed and in some cases, such as those requiring additional, in depth research, the application will take longer. In standard cases, the maximum processing time is one month; in research cases (and in these circumstances, you would be informed) the maximum process time is four months.

These prices apply to recent applications made on or after 26 June 2014. For applications made before this date, adding qualifications and ordering duplicate assessments will incur a fee of £49.50 + VAT* (£59.40) plus your chosen delivery charge.

4. The applicant shall bear sole responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of the applicant’s details supplied to UK NARIC.

5. UK NARIC will not take responsibility for original documents and UK NARIC cannot be held responsible for loss of paperwork in the post. Please do not send original documents - an additional fee will be charged for their safe return.

6. UK NARIC may refuse to process or post the whole or any part of the applicant’s details if UK NARIC deems it to be offensive or inappropriate or in its absolute discretion it believes to be inaccurate, untrue or a forgery. Primary Source Verification

21. If you require a Primary Source Verification check of a qualification, for an application for a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card, you must sign a letter of authorisation allowing UK NARIC, ECCTIS Ltd, or its designated verification partner, to obtain the information required to authenticate your qualification as genuine.

22. We will only verify one qualification, normally your highest qualification. If you have two qualifications at the same level, we will verify the more recent one. If you wish to have a different qualification verified, you must inform us in writing which qualification you wish to have authenticated as genuine. You should fill in your letter of authorisation accordingly.

23. Our current Primary Source Verification partner, the DataFlow Group, has given us the following information on their data handling policy:

As part of the DataFlow Group's move towards GDPR compliance in time for the May 2018 European release date, the company will be adapting its current practices related to the retention of data to adhere to its period of data processing, which is defined by the DataFlow Group as 8 years.

The data is hosted in India, and to ensure compliance with GDPR regulation and local policies where data is hosted and processed outside of the EU, the DataFlow Group is also aligned to the Indian IT Act based on location.

After 8 years, personally identifiable data will be erased and/or put beyond reach.

In line with GDPR, the DataFlow Group will give all applicants the right to erasure and the right to data portability. This will also be in place by May 2018.

In the meantime, the DataFlow Group operates with "security by design" principles and is SOC2 certified with all processes designed on ISO27001 principles.

*If you are applying from an address outside of the EU, you are not required to pay VAT.
