Translation Waiver Scheme
Is your qualification certificate/award in English? If not, then you should take advantage of our Translation Waiver Scheme.
In order to ensure that we are able to evaluate qualifications correctly we require certified English translations of any document that isn't already in English. For certain languages, the Translation Waiver Scheme removes the additional time and expense of acquiring a translation from a third party and enables us to process an application for a Statement of Comparability without the usual requirement of a certified translation. This service is available to those who hold qualifications in the following languages:
If you hold a qualification and your documents are issued in one of these languages, you can benefit from this scheme by submitting photocopies of the original award. You do not need to provide a certified translation. This service waives the requirement for submission of a translation; however, UK NARIC does not provide written translations for applicants.
Should you require a translation of your qualification(s), you should contact your local translation agencies or the Embassy for assistance. Please note that if you apply for our Translation Waiver Scheme there is no guarantee that you will be able to speak to someone in your language about your application. The same also applies to any other queries you may have.
Additionally, you can avoid paying for a translation if you have a Diploma Supplement and/or Certificate Supplement issued in English.
Please note that at UK NARIC we are unable to provide a Comparability Statement for the grades obtained in your qualifications. It is recommended that you present transcripts directly to potential employers / admitting institutions for consideration on an individual basis in line with specific grade requirements.
