INBOUND CUSTOMER SERVICES ADVISER - 1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Organisation: UK NARIC

Location: Cheltenham

Starting Salary: £18,000 per annum

Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours, 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Effectively handle the large volume of telephone calls received from UK and international callers on a daily basis; providing information and advice about their academic, vocational and professional qualifications
  • Provide general administrative support

Person Specification

Essential Desirable
Qualifications
‘Level 3’ qualification e.g. A-level, level 3 NVQ, level 3 national diploma and GCSE English and Maths.
Skills/Attributes
Minimum of one year call centre experience 2 years or more experience
Experienced in a high volume telephone call handling and administrative role in a similar environment
Highly motivated, positive, enthusiastic, efficient and able to work successfully and supportively as part of a busy team
Good attention to detail
Able to speak and write clearly and professionally in English
Ability to multi-task and to remain calm under pressure
An excellent telephone manner and exemplary customer service skills
IT literate – particularly with regard to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and data input to information databases Experience of using CRM Systems

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION ANALYST

Organisation: UK NARIC

Location: Cheltenham

Starting Salary: £22k-£25k, subject to experience

Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm or 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday

UK NARIC is the UK national agency for information and expert advice on international qualifications and the global leader in skills assessment and credential evaluation. We help make sense of international qualifications and support a range of clients including individuals, universities and colleges, awarding bodies and government ministries.

Job Role:

International Education Analysts represent UK NARIC’s core pool of overseas education specialists. You would primarily be responsible for:

  • Project delivery

Undertaking qualification benchmarking studies for a range of international qualifications and English language courses and working on education development projects, e.g. quality and curriculum development

  • Scheduled and enquiry-based research

Investigating and researching qualifications worldwide, national education systems, and new developments and producing engaging publications for a range of clients

  • Overseas stakeholder engagement

Building and maintaining a network of contacts in order to obtain up-to-date information, support overseas educational developments and cement UK NARIC’s position as the global leader in skills assessment

Responsibilities:
