For organisations: bundle applications

Our bundle application service is aimed at organisations and companies looking to make more frequent applications for our statement services on behalf of individual clients or applicants.

UK NARIC bundles can be a cheaper and more convenient option than one-off applications.

Purchasing a bundle package will ensure you receive priority treatment and a quicker turnround time, along with reduced unit cost.

You will also be assigned a UK NARIC Account Manager who you can contact with any queries regarding your package or applications.

There is more information below about the different statement services available as bundles. To place an order, or to ask for more information about any of our bundle services, email bundles@naric.org.uk.

A Statement of Comparability will show how an individual’s qualifications compare to the UK system.

It is designed to be used for several purposes including:

  • Employment
  • Study
  • Professional registration

The Statement of Comparability should be presented to prospective employers, institutions and organisations alongside the original qualification documents.

An example of a Statement of Comparability can be seen here

A scan or photo of the qualification holder’s final certificate

A scan or photo of the qualification holder’s full academic transcript

A scan or photo of certified English translations of the final certificate and transcript if the language is not covered by our Translation Waiver Service.

Colour scans or colour photos are best (this helps with the checking of documents)

The Visas and Nationality services support people who need to evidence the level of their degree and/or their English language proficiency for the UK Home Office.

There are three Visas and Nationality services available:

  • Visas and Nationality (English proficiency)
  • Visas and Nationality (PhD verification)
  • Visas and Nationality (PhD verification with English proficiency).

The Visas and Nationality (English proficiency) service confirms whether a degree was taught in English and meets the recognised standard of Bachelor, Master’s or PhD in the UK. It will also confirm a level of proficiency of English on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) if the qualification was not studied in a majority English-speaking country.

Based on an individual’s specific circumstances, they will receive one or both of the below:

  • The Academic Qualification Level Statement (AQUALS): This confirms the academic level of your degree(s).
  • The English Language Proficiency Statement (ELPS): This confirms the English proficiency level evidenced by your degree(s).

The PhD verification and PhD verification with English proficiency services are designed for people who are applying to the new Skilled Worker immigration route, who want to use their PhD to qualify for tradeable points.

The PhD verification service will provide confirmation of the academic level of an individual’s PhD and a primary source verification check, which verifies that PhD qualification is genuine. The PhD does not need to have been studied in English to apply for this service.

The PhD verification with English proficiency service also includes confirmation of the academic level and a verification of the PhD, as well as information regarding English language proficiency. If an applicant’s PhD was not studied in English but they studied a Bachelor or Master’s degree in English, we can provide English proficiency information for their other degrees.

UKVI case workers can check and verify these statements directly with UK NARIC.

The English Language Assessment is for individuals who need to demonstrate their English language ability for the purposes of work, study, or registration with a professional body.

It confirms whether degrees taught in English meet level B1, B2 or C1 of the the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR). This may help you prove an individual’s language proficiency to potential employers, education institutions or professional bodies.

Please note the English Language Assessment can be used only for Bachelor, Master’s and PhD level qualifications that are taught solely in English.

Here is an example of an English Language Assessment [PDF]

If you are looking to have an individual’s language ability assessed for the purpose of applying for settlement, citizenship or a visa, we would recommend using the specially-designed Visas and Nationality Service.

  • A photo or scan of the individual’s final certificate
  • A photo or scan of the individual’s academic transcripts (documents from affiliate colleges accepted)
  • A photo or scan of a Medium of Instruction letter (MOI letter) which confirms the qualification was taught and assessed completely in English (documents from affiliate colleges accepted)
  • A photo or scan of certified English translations of your documents, if they were not issued in English originally.
Colour scans or colour photos are best (this helps with the checking of documents)
