Who are UK NARIC and how can they help me?
UK NARIC is the National Agency responsible for providing information and advice about vocational, academic and professional skills and qualifications from all over the world. We provide information about the equivalency of qualifications and skills from overseas to the UK's national qualifications frameworks.
What services are available through UK NARIC?
We provide the first step for those coming to the UK to work or study by supplying information on the comparability of qualifications from overseas.
The comparability information supplied by UK NARIC is designed to assist you when applying for jobs or courses in the UK. The Letter of Comparability or Career Path Report can be presented to employers or institutions as supporting information, together with your CV or application form, as confirmation of the recognition of your overseas qualifications in the UK. This will enable potential employers or admitting institutions to make informed decisions about the suitability of your qualification(s) for the job or course for which you are applying.
More information about the services we provide is available in the NARIC Services section of this site.
How much does it cost and how long does it take?
The costs of having your qualifications assessed depend of what service you want. The charge for a standard service letter of comparability is £46.00 plus VAT (£54.05) , £40.00 plus VAT (£47.00) and if you apply on-line. This service normally takes between 10 and 15 working days.
If you require a quicker service or more information on the qualification you hold this is available in the comparing your qualifications section.

The arrangements for who is allowed to work in the UK are changing; the UK Border Agency (UK BA) has introudced some temporary arrangements for migrants currently holding permission to stay in the United Kingdom. Under the new systems individual migrants are evaluated on:
- Their age
- Their qualifications

This document states how your qualifications compare to the UK's qualification frameworks and can be used to make the process of applying through the new points-based system quicker and easier.
